An iconic sail
FROM JB:
A trip to San Francisco wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Golden Gate Bridge. While most tourists long to drive or even walk across it, I decided to go underneath with our friends at Adventure Cat Sailing Charters on Pier 39.
It's been a long day of travel so I figure a relaxing sunset cruise would be just the right activity to top off the day. As we wait to board the boat we're entertained by a group of sealions sunning on a dock.
It's nearly a full house... well, boat, with people from all over the world. I'm the only Canadian onboard so that's making me popular with the Americans (they love Trudeau) and with the other foreigners (because I'm not American!). We're already bonding and we haven't even set sail.

FROM JB:
As the sun begins to set we head out on the water. The Golden Gate Bridge is so far in the distance I wonder if we will get there before the sun is completely gone. But at the speed this boat clips along, I am certain we'll get there in time.
The wind is something to contend with. If you plan on getting an awesome selfie with your hair on point -- think again. After a while you say, "Ah, screw it" and snap pictures, anyway. It's all part of the experience!
